Refraction
Refraction
Refraction refers to the bending of light as it passes from one medium to another, such as when light passes through the cornea and lens of the eye. This bending helps to focus light onto the retina, allowing clear vision.
Symptoms -
- Blurry Vision
- Difficulty seeing objects at a distance
- Eyestrain
- Headaches
- Squinting
Refraction and refractive error: there are multiple types of refractive errors:
- Myopia
- Hypermetropia
- Astigmatism
Myopia (near-sightedness): Individuals with myopia have difficulty seeing objects in the distance clearly.
Hypermetropia (farsightedness): People with Hypermetropia may have trouble seeing objects up close clearly.
Astigmatism: Astigmatism causes a distorted or blurred vision due to an irregularly shaped cornea or lens.
Person with refractive errors doesn’t see well at near or distance he or she will need glasses to see well at distance and near at our centre we are having advanced NIDEK autorefractometer with us with most accurate results, so most satisfied patients with our prescription, we have a team of experienced optometrists and ophthalmologist to do the job nicely.
Advanced autorefractometer with experienced doctors = perfect refractive outcome.
